Veteran Community Initiatives

As Program Specialist, Nikki focuses on community-based programs, veteran support, administrative assistance, and sustaining initiatives for the 14 counties that VCI serves. Her scope involves building and maintaining support networks for educational, enrichment, and community support for veterans. Prior to this role, she worked in long-term care serving older persons in life enrichment, wellness, and volunteer management. She has experience with grant-funded programs, community collaborations, team management, and project and volunteer coordination. Additionally, Nikki has an associate degree in Business Management from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College, is a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program for Healthcare Management with Saint Francis University.
