Overview of series:
Organizations manage substantial amounts of sensitive information, making them targets for cyber-attacks. The threat landscape and ease of access are ever evolving. Cyber education is essential to mitigate attacks and protect sensitive data, the organization’s reputation, and its customers.
These trainings will provide awareness of threats, lessons learned from real world attacks, and provide tools and information that help organizations strengthen their preparation, mitigation and response to cyber-attacks which can reduce organization risk and costs.
Aug 26th Session 1: BCDR (Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery) + Incident Planning
What is your level of preparedness? Learn the breakdown of business risks associated with down time, loss of data, and costs resulting from a security event, including real world examples & results of events we have seen. You will be able to identify differences in true backup, and how it can help you save money! You will be provided steps you can take to complete a business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
Is your business prepared for the unexpected? Response to an incident and the efficiency of the response is crucial to reducing impact. Diminish negative impact on the organization in the inevitable event of a security incident or cyberattack. Discover varied types of events & incidents, the state of your environment, your role in an event/ incident, your IT firm/MSP/TSP role in an incident. Real world examples of incident timelines and costs. All attendees will:

Learn about AI’s role in your IT and how it affects your security posture. All attendees will:

Oct 14th Session 3: Cyber security awareness month - Current state + mediated panel

With the on-going shift to remote work environments, many organizations don’t know or dramatically underestimate the risks due to an attack and don’t take critical action. Understanding the cyber threat landscape is a critical first step to reduce the risk of data loss and business interruption. All attendees will:
