Bike Bedford County has grown into a three-day triathlon-inspired adventure, celebrating Bedford County's beautiful outdoors. Paddle, Bike and/or Walk/Run - the levels of participation are limited only by your own interests. The Bedford County Outdoor Challenge is a three-day, three-stage recreational adventure with something for all interests and ability levels.
Register for one, two or all three events: Friday's Shawnee Sunset Paddle on Shawnee Lake; Saturday's Bike Bedford County, with multiple options for distance and climbing difficulties; and Sunday's Break of Day 5K/10K Trail Run/Hike.
This is an un-timed event: challenge yourself while enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Bedford County, PA. Start/Finish for all events is Shawnee State Park with the paddle and run/hike taking place mainly within the park; the cycling stage explores the surrounding area, including challenging climbs or rolling hills through many of the area's historic covered bridges.

Registration includes an event souvenir glass. Event t-shirts are available for purchase ($20-$24) before August 1st*Lakeshore Family Quest is a free event with no registrants' gifts.

Fri. Aug. 18th - Shawnee Sunset Paddle - Check-in Opens at 6:00 pm. Paddle starts at 7:00pm from the boat launch off of the main parking lot.
Sat. Aug. 19th - Bike Bedford County - Check-in Opens for Allegheny Ascent and Hyrbid Rides (both metric centuries) at 7:3 am with mandatory pre-ride meeting at 8am followed by departure.
