Bedford County Outdoor Challenge

Bike Bedford County has grown into a three-day triathlon-inspired adventure, celebrating Bedford County's beautiful outdoors.  Paddle, Bike and/or Walk/Run - the levels of participation are limited only by your own interests.   The Bedford County Outdoor Challenge is a three-day, three-stage recreational adventure with something for all interests and ability levels.    Register for one, two or all three events:  Friday's Shawnee Sunset Paddle on Shawnee Lake; Saturday's Bike Bedford County, with multiple options for distance and climbing difficulties; and Sunday's Break of Day 5K/10K Trail Run/Hike.   This is an untimed event: challenge yourself while enjoying the beautiful outdoors of Bedford County, PA.  Start/Finish for all events is Shawnee State Park with the paddle and run/hike taking place mainly within the park; the cycling stage explores the surrounding area, including challenging climbs or rolling hills through many of the area's historic covered bridges.
