Steps to Success is a day of connecting local businesses with high school students preparing for their first employment opportunities. Business leaders share their "steps to success" for finding and keeping a job and excelling in the workplace, including interview skills, expectations, proper attire, employment law, and more. A career fair is also included, giving students the chance to meet local employers, representatives from area colleges, the military, etc. Some students have obtained summer or part time jobs as a result of this event.
Bedford County students in grades 10-12 should register for this event with their guidance counselor. Businesses wishing to participate should contact the Chamber office.

Fees/Admission
Sponsorships range from $150-$500 and help to cover the cost of providing lunches to the students, who attend at no cost. Sponsors have the opportunity to have a display table with 1-4 attendees.
