SUMMARY:Workforce Mental Health and Wellness Series
DESCRIPTION:A free 2-part educational program in support of the workforce of the Bedford County region.\n\n\n\nBuilding Blocks of Stress Management and Innovative Workforce Support\, COVID and Beyond \n\n \n\nDr. Peggy Steinbrunner\, PsyD will present a two part stress management talk for business owners\, managers and employees with an emphasis on Q&A to address specific concerns and struggles in your workplace.  She will review the basics of stress management from wellness\, behavioral\, and cognitive approaches as well as discuss organizational stressors of the COVID pandemic through the present and offer some innovative strategies to address the increased and increasing demands. \n\n \n\nAbout Our Speaker: Dr. Peggy Steinbrunner is the owner of Horizon Behavioral Health\, PLLC and a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania\, West Virginia\, & Florida\, as well as PSYPACT certified to offer telehealth services in 39 states with an office location in Everett\, Pennsylvania and one office planned to open in Morgantown\, West Virginia is 2024.  She is an Active Duty Army Veteran and currently serves in the PA Army National Guard has lead Behavioral Health Officer with specialized training and experience in treating Service Members and their families.  She is trained in a variety of evidence based protocols and therapies including those for trauma\, depression\, anxiety\, substance use disorder\, and sleep.  She works with public safety agencies to provide supervision\, training\, and organizational support.  Dr. Steinbrunner completed her pre- and postdoctoral clinical training at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. She became a licensed psychologist first in 2013 and has presented research projects at national conferences and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles.
