DESCRIPTION:Steps to Success is a day of connecting local businesses with high school students preparing for their first employment opportunities.  Business leaders share their "steps to success" for finding and keeping a job and excelling in the workplace\,  including interview skills\, expectations\, proper attire\, employment law\, and more. A career fair is also included\, giving students the chance to meet local employers\, representatives from area colleges\, the military\, etc.  Some students have obtained summer or part time jobs as a result of this event.  \n\n\n\nBedford County students in grades 10-12 should register for this event with their guidance counselor.  Businesses wishing to participate should contact Gwen at the Chamber office by calling 814-623-2233.
